The purpose of this syllabus is to provide real estate professionals and consumers alike with a tool to ensure the greatest possible transparency between all those involved in the sector.

Whether notary or estate agent, architect or surveyor, the drafter of a report or deed must be understood by as many professionals and consumers as possible.
The ABEX-Academy has therefore decided to support this new Code de Mesurage des Surfaces des immeubles bâtis by publishing this syllabus and organising training courses open to all.
ABEX hopes that the Code de Mesurage des Surfaces (C.M.S.) will be as widely accepted as possible and will serve as a basis for calculating the country's various property laws.
